This sculpture was the first of a new series of works centered around my thoughts of life and new beginnings titled Core. As my thoughts progressed along with the production of the other works in this series, I recognized a greater potential for this original piece. As such, I revisited the piece and made several additions that added to the strength and interconnectedness of the piece.
